I hope all brothers and their families are enjoying the summer. It's been a hot one. The "Day At The Races" was a big success, a great time was had by all. Over 250 people were in attendance. Brother Sweeney will give us the final summary of the event at the next full meeting. From my own experience, it was great.

A congratulations goes out to our State Board President Jere Cole. This July, Jere was elected to National Director, at the National Convention in Cincinnati, OH. Brothers Mike Sweeney and our Financial Secretary Jim O"Donnell were in attendance representing our division.

Our next full division meeting is Tuesday September 7th at Astor Bar 7:30pm....(Tuesday after Labor Day)

With sadness our brother Hibernian John Dennis passed away this week. John was a decent and kind man. He was always willing to help, even though he was hampered by the effects of a stroke. John was our Hibernian of the Year in 2008, as John receives his ultimate reward, please keep his family in your prayers. God Bless
